ABOUT ME

I was "Born Again" while briefly incarcerated at a local jail. While there, I attended a Sunday morning church service in the jail cafeteria, where at that meeting, I surrendered my heart to the Lord Jesus Christ and experienced God's presence in my soul and body.

From that time until this, I have striven to know and experience a personal and intimate knowledge and relationship with God. As a young man still in my teens, I would go to a park at night, lay on the grass, look at the stars, and talk to God, mostly asking Him who and what He was. Early on, I wanted to know this person or being I felt deep within me; I felt Him, but I knew nothing about Him.

Now, 44 years later, at the age of 63, I find myself still doing the same. I have sought God daily for those past 44 years, had many experiences with Him, and learned much about The Heavenly Father, His Son Jesus Christ, And His Holy Spirit. Yet, I still do not know Him as I want. Forty-four years have taught me that He is an everlasting mystery the Holy Spirit will reveal to us through eternity.

However, I have also learned that He desires to reveal all regarding who He is and His desire to share His life with each of us in a very intimate manner—speaking to each of us in our language and understanding.

I have learned the things I share in this blog from living a life of ups and downs, more failures than successes. I am a husband to one wife of 43 years, father of 2 sons for 42 years, and grandfather of 5 for 17 years. I have been in ministries and business. All have contributed to the journey of my life, which path always leads me to the same place.

Philippians 3:10: “Oh, that I might know Him.”

I hope you enjoy these teachings and discover yourself wanting the same as me. I pray that we all desire, develop, and experience the intimate relationship with our creator, which He wants to have with us.
